vocals/keyboard/guitar
Age: 21
1. Where were you born and how long have you been playing music for?
>I was born in Hollywood and I have been singing and playing guitar for about 7 years.
2. When did you discover you had a passion for music?
>I discovered this passion for music at an early age actually. I used to sit in front of my stereo player singing along to Mariah Carey or Celine Dion. I also enjoyed a lot of video game music from a lot of Squaresoft composers.
3. In what ways did you develop this passion; who are your major influences?
>I first developed this passion in middle school. Singing to a lot of Usher songs made me first an R&B singer. The first person I had ever sung to was “I Need a Girl” by P. Diddy featuring Usher. Good times. Right now, my major influences are John Mayer, U2, Mariah Carey, Mute Math, Coldplay. I can put them all on repeat easily.
4. Outside of music, what do you do? What do you like to do in your free time?
>Right now I am attending Santa Monica college and it is my 4th year (yeah I’m going to be a super super senior!) in college right now. I’m studying computer information systems and perhaps minoring in chemistry to create some cool explosive devices that could be used on stage. In my free time, I enjoy talking to the ladies and playing video games like Super Smash Brothers.
5. What are your plans, goals, and dreams in the music business?
>This is something that always feels like it’s constantly changing, but constantly improving. Just one of those things that comes with time. The plan right now is to just get our names, faces, and music out there for the world to know that there are four Asian fellows about to conquer the world!
6. What is your all-time favorite song?
>This is a tough question. “In My Life” by the Beatles.
7. What is one song that you absolutely hate?
>Currently any song by Jason Derulo. I don’t like that guy.
8. Favorite food and number.
>STEAK. and it’s a tie between 4 and 7. 4 is a little more laid back for me, but 7 just sounds so complete.
